Protecting your trampoline through the Winter…

With the gloomy winter months drawing ever closer now is a good time to start thinking about how you are going to protect your trampoline.

Bad weather can have a significant impact on the performance and safety of your trampoline, and when you’ve spent a small fortune buying the right one, leaving it unprotected through the winter wouldn’t be a good idea! If, like a lot of us, you don’t have space to store an unassembled trampoline indoors, then there are a few things you can do to ensure that your trampoline is still at its best when the winter period is over.

The first thing you can do and the most obvious option is to buy a trampoline cover; this protects the trampoline’s pads, bed and springs. Alternatively, you could remove the bed, springs and pads and store them indoors, although you are running the risk of condemning the frame of your trampoline to rust. Another option is installing a trampoline tent; this can not only protect the trampoline itself but also offers an enclosed space for children to play in or storage.
